The truth is, live online yoga can be just as effective—if not more so—than in-person classes. Here’s why:

Between work, family, and daily responsibilities, finding time for yourself can feel impossible. With online yoga, there’s no rushing to a studio, no traffic, and no parking struggles. Simply roll out your mat at home and begin. Plus you can show up exactly as you are—messy bun, pajamas, and all!


2. Live Guidance & Real-Time Connection

Unlike pre-recorded classes, live online yoga gives you the same real-time interaction as a studio class. You’ll still receive guidance, encouragement, and the group energy that makes practicing together so powerful. Plus, you can ask questions, get modifications, and feel supported—just like in a physical class.


3. More Comfort, Less Intimidation with Online Yoga Classes

Many avoid yoga studios because they worry about not being flexible enough, not keeping up with the class or feeling self-conscious around others. Practicing at home removes those barriers. You can move at your own pace, listen to your body, and truly focus on your own practice—without comparison or distractions.

I often hear students mention that they enjoy the energy of an in-person class. Although the energy does differ, yoga is not about the location; it’s about the practice.. Breath work, movement, and meditation work just as powerfully through a screen. You’ll still feel more energy in the morning, a deep sense of calm after class and experience emotional release and healing. Many of my students say they feel just as connected in my live online classes as they do in-person. Moreover, an online practice closely resembles a personal practice or sadhana, which is the ultimate goal.

One of the biggest challenges we all have is staying consistent with self-care. Online classes remove the biggest obstacles—lack of time, energy, or motivation. When it’s easy to access, you’re more likely to stick with it. And that’s when the transformation happens.
